Services

Gentle Bathe & Bath

It starts with a light dry-brushing of the grave marker to remove loose dirt and debris using a natural, soft bristle bench-brush. Once brushed, the headstone is washed with clean water and a gentle soap solution and gently scrubbed.  A light wash and scrub with a calcium remover is often used to help with calcium build-up or watermarks and a detail brush (such as a toothbrush) is used to reach smaller crevices, gaps, and space around the lettering. Each headstone is washed, scrubbed, and dried several times, until no more debris can be lifted. Some headstones can be bathed and brushed in under an hour, but most require 2-3 hours, and others a little more.  And finally, the Bathe & Bath Service is completed with a good, clean, rinse.

Light Landscaping

Grounds are combed, the grass is trimmed, and new seed is sprinkled.

Any weeds and/or debris from within the grave area will be removed and with a hand-held rake I comb through the area around the grave-marker.  Dirt is pulled away from the edge of the base stone to allow water (from future rain or irrigation) to properly disperse and the grass around the marker is hand-trimmed with shears.  New grass seed is sprinkled around the grave marker, paying special attention to any bare areas.

Floral Adornment

Floral Adornment

A floral arrangement is placed upon the headstone.

Once beautified, headstones are adorned with a floral arrangement to honor the life of the remembered.  Bouquets range from vibrant (bursting with vim and vigor), to bold (hardy and heroic), or delicate (airy and graceful).

Bouquets are placed upon the marker and removed once the photos have been taken.  There are a handful of arrangements  - each with its own unique personality.  Some arrangements work better paired with certain headstones, depending on the vase style and/or height of the gravemarker.  If you have a floral preference, please let me know and I'll do my best to incorporate it.  Otherwise, I'll use an arrangement that best suits the occasion and headstone.

Keepsake Photo

Once bathed, groomed, and adorned with flowers, I will send you a commemorative photo that can be shared online or kept as a personal keepsake.
